Back for a 12th year, the Sutcliffe & Co Worcester City Run weekend brings thousands of runners to the historic cathedral city of Worcester. The celebrations open on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with Paula's Families on Track, a fun family relay event at Worcester Racecourse with laps ranging from 250m to 750m. The main event follows on Sunday, September 13, with races starting from around 9:00 a.m., including the popular Junior run setting off at 8:45am.

Both the Half Marathon and 10K run on a fast, flat, entirely traffic-free course, weaving through the heart of Worcester on public roads closed or segregated for the day, with the striking Worcester viaduct forming a fantastic backdrop for the start and finish. The minimum age is 15 for the 10K and 17 for the Half Marathon, making the event suitable for beginners and experienced runners chasing a personal best alike. Around 5,000 runners are expected to take part across the whole weekend, with every participant receiving official chip timing, a finisher's medal and a goody bag.
