The Brighton Beach Marathon takes place on Sunday 30 August 2026, evolved from the former Sandy Point Half Marathon into a full running festival organised by Sole Motive. All events start and finish at Green Point Reserve in Brighton, on Melbourne's bayside.

The two-lap Marathon (42.195 km) follows a scenic, fast and flat course along Beach Road, on fully closed roads, through Brighton, Hampton and Sandringham. The one-lap Half Marathon (21.1 km) covers much of the same route, alongside the 10K and 5K. All distances are AIMS-certified, and the Marathon and Half Marathon include wheelchair waves. The event once again supports the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation.
