Vainqueur la semaine passée à Sochi, la Coline Mattel version 2012-2013 est vraiment passée tout près d'un second succès consécutif ce soir sur le tremplin de Ramsau.
En tête après le premier saut, elle s'incline finalement pour seulement 2.4 points, soit environ 1 mètre, face à la petite (par la taille) Japonaise Sara Takanashi.
Avec ses sauts mesurés à 86.5m et 93m la Haut-Savoyarde totalise 238.6 points contre 241 points à sa rivale Niponne qui s'est posée à 86.5m et 91.5m.
Coline Mattel réalise un début de saison de très haut niveau, preuve que cet hiver elle entend bien mettre tous les atouts de son côté. Là voilà ce soir installée au deuxième rang du classement général derrière Takanashi et devant Hendrickson
9e après la manche initiale Daniela Iraschko revient au troisième rang final gràce à son deuxième saut mesuré à 94m.
L'Autrichienne confirme elle aussi ses bonnes dispositions actuelles.
Ensuite on retrouve les Américaines Lindsey Van et Jessica Jerome puis Seifriedsberger.
La troisième Américaine Hendrickson, tenante du globe de cristal, prend la 7e place.
Bon résultat pour Lea Lemare qui se classe 20ème.
Julia Clair termine 49ème.
Les sauteuses vont maintenant retourner chez elles pour les fêtes de fin d’année !

Sara Takanashi (JPN): "There are two reasons why I really like the hill in Ramsau. On the one hand it is because of the way of the inrun and the pressure I can feel. On the other hand Ramsau is such a wonderful place and I am feeling very comfortable here."
Coline Mattel (FRA): "There is still some room for improvement regarding the take-off and the landing as well. But I am satisfied with the way it goes and I feel that I am getting better step by step."
Daniela Iraschko (AUT): “It was a great motivation to compete in front of my home crowd. I am from Styria and so I enjoyed this home competition. The first period of the World Cup was a bit stressful because we did not have much time for our training. However, I had a good start into the season."
