GMS Queen City Marathon 2026 – Results & Live Tracking

Since GMS became title sponsor in 2017, race weekend has been an all-hands-on-deck tradition for the Regina-based insurer, with a third of its employees volunteering all weekend long. The 26th Annual GMS Queen City Marathon runs from September 11 to 13, 2026, offering "a race for every pace." Everything starts and finishes at the Conexus Arts Centre, 200A Lakeshore Drive, and the courses wind through some of the most scenic parts of Regina, including large sections of Wascana Centre, downtown Regina and several of the city's older neighbourhoods, on a mostly flat combination of asphalt roadways and pathways.

Race weekend kicks off Friday evening with the A1 Rent-Alls Night Owl 5K, followed Saturday by the ISM Mini-Marathon for kids aged 2 to 14 and the Campbell & Haliburton Insurance Family 5K. Sunday brings the main event: the GMS 42.2K Run (7:30 a.m. start, course open 6 hours, already sold out for 2026), alongside a City of Regina 42.2K Walk, a 42.2K Wheelchair race, the Auto Gallery Subaru 21.1K Run (8:00 a.m., 4-hour course), a South Country Equipment 21.1K Walk, an Olympic Super Center 42.2K Team Relay, and the Regina Hotel Association 10K. Both the full and half marathon are Athletics Canada certified and recognised as Boston Marathon qualifiers.
