For 28 years running, the Katy 5K has been proving that a road race can double as a giant block party. On the evening of Thursday, September 10, 2026, thousands of runners and walkers gather at Reverchon Park in Dallas, Texas, to "take over the iconic Katy Trail" for a lively 5-kilometer course winding through the scenic beauty of Turtle Creek and the vibrant streets of Uptown Dallas. The race, presented by Michelob ULTRA, is one of Dallas's most anticipated fundraising events, giving both serious runners and first-timers a reason to lace up on a weeknight.

Every registration includes a short-sleeve tech shirt, a custom bib with chip timing, and a finisher's medal — plus full access to the legendary Katy Picnic Party once the race is done.
