9e victoire en carrière et surtout 9e victoire depuis le début d'une saison qu'il domine de la tête et des épaules.
En seulement quelques mois Halvor Egner Granerud est devenu numéro 1 mondial mais aussi le troisième meilleur Norvégien de l'histoire avec 9 succès sur le circuit contre 11 à Ljoekelsoy, 10 à Jacobsen et 9 également pour Ruud.
Ce champion de 25 ans, qui sera l'homme à battre aux mondiaux d'Oberstdorf, est en train d'écrire l'histoire du saut à ski à la vitesse grand V.
Aujourd'hui à Klingenthal, il a une fois encore largement dominé ses rivaux en terminant ce concours avec deux sauts au delà des 140m et près de 13 points d'avance sur Kamil Stoch, soit environ 8 mètres de marge.
L'immense Polonais se contentera sans doute de sa deuxième place tant le leader du général est fort.
Un concours de Klingenthal qui aura également souri au Slovène de 22 ans, Bor Pavlovic, qui connait les joies d'un premier podium à ce niveau.

Piotr Zyla, Anze Lanisek et Dawid Kubacki complètent ce Top 6 penchant vers l'Est de l'Europe.
Les Allemands, les Autrichiens et les Japonais restent pour cette fois en retrait avec une possibilité de revanche, ce dimanche.

" quite satisfied and I'm happy with the way I managed to adapt to the stressful situation in the first round when I had to get off the gate and was told that there will be a trial jumper, but then there was no trial jumper. So I'm happy that I was able to calm myself down.
The final jump was really good and jumps like that are so much fun. It was a really good day for me. My jumps are really good right now and I'll just try to do the same tomorrow."
Kamil Stoch (POL):
"I'm satisfied with my jumps today. Yesterday I was struggling with some small details and sometimes it can be really difficult to find this one small piece that's missing. Today everything went well and actually I was a bit surprised by the result. It was a good competition, not only for me, but for the whole Polish team."
Bor Pavlovcic (SLO):
"It's my first podium and it feels amazing. I was jumping well already last weekend and yesterday, so I knew that I can be on the podium if I make good jumps and that's what happened. I hope I can make two jumps like the second one today in tomorrow's competition then I can achieve a good result again."
