Results & Tracking → 🌐 Official Page →Organised by Action Challenge as the headline event of the Thames Ultra Challenges weekend, the Thames Path Challenge sets off from Putney Bridge in South West London on Saturday 12 September 2026 for a self-paced walk, jog or run along one of the flattest routes in the whole Ultra Challenge® series. The flagship 100km heads upstream through Richmond, Hampton Court and on to Runnymede, the historic home of the Magna Carta and the route's halfway point, before continuing past Windsor to a celebration riverside finish in Henley-on-Thames. It can be tackled continuously through the night or split into two 50km days, with optional camping at Runnymede.
For those after a shorter test, the series also offers 75km, 50km and 25km options along the same towpath, plus a dedicated 10km loop through the Remenham countryside near the Henley finish line. New for 2026, the Ultra Trailblazerz® category targets faster, competitive-minded participants racing against the clock, alongside the existing Ultra March® category for walkers aiming to complete 100km in under 24 hours or 50km in under 12.
