Un podium ultra serré
Il faudra rechercher dans les annales mais retrouver trois filles aux trois premières places, séparées par seulement 0.2 point, c'est rarissime et peut-être historique.
Après la première manche, la gagnante du globe 2022 Marita Kramer, avec un saut à 119m, menait le bal devant une Joséphine Pagnier auteure d'un bond incroyable à 125m, ceci en partant de la plate forme 21, au lieu de 19 pour l'Autrichienne.
La Jurassienne pouvait espérer gagner ce concours et terminer à minima sur le podium mais elle va malheureusement manquer son deuxième saut et se poser à seulement 109.5m, loin du trio de tête.
Ursa Bogataj, double championne olympique en titre, viendra finalement chiper la gagne à Marita Kramer avec ses deux sauts à 121.5m et 118.5m pour un total de 242.5 points.
La gagnante du globe termine 2e avec 242.4 points et Nika Kriznar, autre Slovène, troisième avec 242.3 points, intéressant de noter que l'on retrouve les trois premières de la coupe du monde 2022 sur ce podium.
Joséphine Pagnier, par la faute de son deuxième saut, se contente d'une très belle 4e place, avec 223.1 points. On trouve ensuite l'Allemande Katharina Althaus et la seconde Autrichienne Chiara Kreuzer.
Julia Clair s'illustre elle aussi avec une jolie 10e place.
Un deuxième concours est prévu dimanche sur ce même tremplin HS 134 de Wisla.

"I am really happy about my result. I had a little problem with my landing, but this is something I still need to work on. I like this hill, but I think it is very difficult. You have to jump really well, otherwise, it's hard to get a good result here."
Marita Kramer :
"I am quite satisfied. I know I have some technical problems, but I'm working on that and I'm happy that I could change something during the competitions as well.
It gave me a lot of confidence because I know I can change some things and I can also improve my jumps during the competition, and try something different. I think it is the right direction, I saw where I am and I keep working on it."
Nika Kriznar :
"I was stressed because my jump in the trial round was really bad and I was worried. It's nice to come back and just relax. I'm happy that I made it and was on the podium. I know I still have to work on my landing, but that's just one thing.
Tomorrow I want to be on the podium again and enjoy our top 10 results with Ursa and the whole Slovenian team."
