Andreas Wellinger (GER): "It was incredibly close today, I think with 4 athletes separated by just 2 points. I tried really hard to get over that green line and it's amazing that I could win by 0.3 points.

I liked the old flying hill in Oberstdorf a lot, now i'm really looking forward to trying the new hill next weekend."

Stefan Kraft (AUT): "It was very exciting today. I think that especially the first round was fantastic for the fans here at the hill and at home with one very long jump after the other. In the second round it was a bit difficult and it was a very close race.

Of course I would have wanted to win, but Andi was the best the whole weekend and deserved this win. The level is very high and so I'm very satisfied with the second place."

Manuel Fettner (AUT): "It wasn't perfect for me today, 1.4 points more would have been nice. But it was a great competition, I had two very good jumps. I think it's good for everyone that Welli could win here at home.

I get closer and closer to the win and I'm happy about this and also about my performance today."
