Kalle Keituri (FIN): “We had big problems before this weekend. The team spirit wasn’t very good, but now it’s back and you can see that in good jumps. Harri Olli is probably in such a good shape right now because the World Championships are just around the corner. Of course we are optimistic now with regard to Liberec. If everything goes well I can be in the Top 10 and with the team our chances are very, very good right now.”

Wolfgang Steiert (Head-coach RUS): “Our tactics worked today. With Ilja Rosliakov our weakest link was in the third group and that paid off. But of course it was a great performance on the team in all eight jumps. We were considering not competing here, but the boys like skiflying. At the World Championships we will take everything step by step. In my opinion Vassiliev is one of the Top 6 jumpers.”

Markus Eggenhofer (AUT): “We are satisfied with the third place, even if we expected a little bit more before the Team Tour. All in all it didn’t work perfect for us here. Because Thomas Morgenstern and Gregor Schlierenzauer were not competing today I got the chance in the team and I think I used it well.”

Clas Brede Brathen (Skijumping director NOR): “It is planned to split half of the € 100 000 between the jumpers who competed here in Oberstdorf. The rest will be divided according to a special key of starts and performances. So Anders Jacobsen earned the most. Honestly we have no explanation why it goes so well at the moment. We worked continuously and were always loyal to our athletes. It’s important that we got the necessary self-confidence for the World Championships.”
